Description
A 30-inch nine-light chandelier in matte black steel with clear crystal accents, made for dining rooms and foyers that want a touch of French country glamour.
The Adelaide series is a study in contrast: Matte black steel framework paired with clear crystal, an unexpected combination that reads both modern and traditional. The silhouette carries a hint of French country style, with crystal detailing that catches and scatters light across the room. Whether hung above a dining table or perched in a powder room, Adelaide illuminates curiosity and charisma.
Best for
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, centered over a 60-72 in table
- Two-story foyers and entryways where the 36 in height fills vertical space
- Primary bedrooms with vaulted ceilings, as a statement centerpiece
- Traditional and transitional interiors with black hardware or dark wood tones
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft - the 36 in height plus chain needs clearance
- Small powder rooms or hallways where a 30 in diameter would overwhelm the space
- Anyone wanting a single-bulb accent - this is a nine-light fixture with substantial output
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With nine 60W candelabra bulbs, this fixture delivers ample ambient light for a dining room or foyer - it is a primary room light, not an accent.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose. Candelabra-base bulbs are widely available in warm white (2700K-3000K) for a soft, golden feel that flatters wood and crystal, or in clear finishes for a brighter, more sparkling effect. Dimming is supported when paired with compatible dimmable bulbs and a standard dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 30 in L x 30 in W x 36 in H. The 8 ft chain and 12 ft cord allow flexible hanging height, and the 5 in W x 5 in L canopy covers a standard junction box. Best suited to rooms roughly 12 x 14 ft or larger with ceilings at least 8 ft high.

Frequently asked
Is the bulb included? No - nine 60W candelabra base bulbs are required and sold separately.
Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Yes, when fitted with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The manufacturer does not specify a dimmer brand.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? No - this fixture is rated for dry indoor locations only.
What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified in the source data; check with the manufacturer.
How does the matte black finish compare to polished finishes? Matte black absorbs light rather than reflecting it, which makes the crystal accents stand out more and gives the piece a softer, more contemporary look than polished chrome or brass.
