OPEN BOX ITEM: Maxim Lighting Spot Light 6in 1-Light Outdoor Cylinder Wall Sconce | Modern Matte Black Aluminum | Porch & Patio | 4 x 6 in | Model MX62001BK

A 6-inch outdoor cylinder wall sconce for porches, patios, and entryways that need focused, directional light.

The Spot Light Collection brings a sleek, streamlined look to exterior walls. The articulating cylinder shade lets you aim light exactly where you need it, making this a stylish alternative to bulky security floodlights. The matte black powder coat is outdoor rated and built on non-corrosive aluminum, so it stands up to weather while staying sharp enough for interior use as a bedside or reading sconce.

Best for

• Covered porches and patios where you want directional accent light without a floodlight look
• Entryways and garage walls that need a focused pool of light on a door or walkway
• Bedrooms as a reading sconce beside the bed, aimed at a book or headboard
• Hallways and stairwells where a compact, low-profile wall light is needed

Not ideal for

• Open, fully exposed locations with direct rain and no overhang - this fixture is rated for damp locations, not wet
• Large rooms that need broad ambient light - the directional beam is designed for accent and task use
• Installations where the fixture must point upward - the install position is down

How bright is it?

800 lumens - roughly as bright as a 60W incandescent bulb. That is plenty for a focused accent or reading light, but it is not intended to light an entire yard or large room on its own.

Light color and feel

3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. With a CRI of 90, colors render accurately, which helps wood, brick, and landscaping look natural. The fixture is standard dimmable, so you can pair it with a compatible dimmer to soften the output at night.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 3.75 in wide by 6.5 in high with a 6.25 in extension from the wall. The backplate measures 1 in wide by 4.75 in high. At just 1.21 lbs, it mounts easily on most exterior and interior wall surfaces. The compact size suits narrow wall spaces, columns, and beside door frames.
