Description
A 16-inch wide wall sconce in oil rubbed bronze with white glass shades, designed to add soft, elegant light to bedrooms, hallways, and bathrooms.
The Bisque collection pairs ribbed ceramic-style shades with classic arching tube frames for a look that feels both timeless and modern. The oil rubbed bronze finish has a warm, dark tone that works with a range of interiors, and the white glass shades diffuse light softly while highlighting the ribbed pattern. It's a refined choice for spaces where you want a little more style than a basic sconce.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted on either side of a bed as reading lights or flanking a dresser
- Hallways and stairwells where you want even, welcoming light
- Bathrooms with a single or double vanity - it's damp-rated for humid spaces
- Living rooms and dining rooms as accent lighting on a feature wall
- Anyone who wants a sconce that can be mounted facing up or down
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas - this sconce is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Very small spaces where a 16-inch wide fixture would overwhelm the wall
- Anyone who wants bulbs included - this fixture ships without them
How bright is it?
With two 60W incandescent bulbs, this sconce puts out a moderate level of light - enough for a bedroom or hallway, but not a primary light for a large room. The exact lumen output depends on the bulbs you choose. For a brighter effect, use LED bulbs with higher lumen output.
Light color and feel
The fixture itself doesn't set the color temperature - that comes from the bulbs. The white glass shades diffuse the light softly, so it feels even and glare-free. It's dimmable with a standard dimmer, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the time of day.
Sizing and fit
The sconce measures 16 in wide by 10 in tall, with a 9 in extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.75 in wide by 6 in tall, and the shade height is 4.5 in. It weighs 3.74 lbs. This is a substantial sconce - best on walls with at least 3 ft of clear space on either side. It can be mounted facing up or down.
