This Nuvo flush mount combines traditional styling with a soft, diffused glow. The Old Bronze finish adds warmth, while the frosted melon glass shade softens the light, making it suitable for damp locations like bathrooms. How bright is it?

With two 60W incandescent bulbs (not included), the fixture can produce up to approximately 1600 lumens total, similar to a single 100W incandescent bulb. This is sufficient for ambient lighting in small to medium rooms, but not for task lighting. For a brighter output, use LED bulbs with equivalent wattage.

Light color and feel

The frosted melon glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm, inviting glow. The actual color temperature depends on the bulbs you choose - warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs will enhance the traditional look and complement the Old Bronze finish. The fixture is dimmable if dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer are used.

Sizing and fit

Dimensions: 11.25 inches wide x 5 inches high. This flush mount is designed for ceilings with at least 7 ft clearance. It projects only 5 inches from the ceiling, making it ideal for low ceilings. The canopy covers a standard 4-inch octagonal junction box.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. The fixture uses two standard A19 medium-base bulbs, up to 60W each (incandescent) or equivalent LED.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The fixture itself is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer rated for the total wattage.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? Yes, it is rated for damp locations, so it can be used in bathrooms, covered porches, or other areas exposed to moisture. Not for wet locations (direct rain).
