How bright is it?
Uses one 13W quad tube fluorescent bulb (not included) with a GX23-2 base. Typical output for a 13W fluorescent is around 900 lumens, comparable to a 60W incandescent bulb. This provides sufficient light for accent or security lighting but is not intended as a primary light source for large areas.
Light color and feel
Fluorescent bulbs typically produce a cool white light (around 4100K). The Lexan globe diffuses the light, reducing glare and creating a soft, even illumination. Not dimmable.
