The Colony collection by Nuvo Lighting brings clean, neutral lines to a mid-century modern design. The shallow pan metal shade is finished in matte white with a matching interior to reflect light downward, while the burnished brass base, chain, and canopy add an elegant touch. How bright is it?

Uses one 100-watt incandescent medium base bulb (not included). With a standard 100W bulb, output is approximately 1600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent, suitable for ambient lighting over a dining table or kitchen island. For a softer glow, use a 60W equivalent LED bulb (800 lumens).

Light color and feel

Light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb - this creates a soft golden tone that flatters wood tones and brass finishes. The matte white interior reflects light evenly downward, minimizing glare. Dimmable if paired with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions: 20 x 20 x 8 in (width x depth x height). The pendant hangs from a chain and canopy (included), with a total hanging length adjustable up to 8 ft. For an 8-ft ceiling, set the chain so the bottom of the shade is about 60 in from the floor over a dining table, or 66-72 in over a kitchen island. The shade diameter is 20 in, making it a medium-scale pendant suitable for rooms 10x10 ft or larger.
