How bright is it?

With a maximum 60W incandescent bulb (not included), this lantern produces approximately 800 lumens - comparable to a standard 60W bulb. This is suitable for ambient lighting along paths or at an entry, but not bright enough to serve as a primary security light. For equivalent brightness with lower energy use, consider an LED A19 bulb.

Light color and feel

The clear glass provides unobstructed light output. With a standard incandescent bulb (2700K-3000K), the light will be warm and inviting, typical of traditional outdoor lighting. If using an LED bulb, choose a warm white (2700K-3000K) to maintain the classic look. The fixture is not dimmable unless a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer are used.
