How bright is it?

With eight 100-watt max bulbs (not included), this fixture can produce up to 800-1200 lumens per bulb depending on the bulb type, totaling 6400-9600 lumens - equivalent to about eight 60W incandescent bulbs. This is very bright, suitable for primary bathroom lighting. For a softer glow, use lower-wattage or dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer switch.

Light color and feel

The Alabaster glass shades diffuse light to reduce glare and create a warm, even distribution. Bulb color temperature is your choice - 2700K-3000K warm white is recommended for a relaxing bath, while 3500K-4000K cool white is better for task lighting. The fixture is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer, allowing you to adjust the mood.

Sizing and fit

The fixture measures 48 inches wide, 4.75 inches high, and extends 2 inches from the wall. It is designed for wall mounting above a bathroom vanity. For best results, mount it 75-80 inches above the floor, centered over a 60-inch or wider vanity. The backplate covers a standard 4-inch junction box.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. The fixture accepts eight medium-base G-type bulbs up to 100W each.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The fixture itself is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a standard incandescent dimmer. For LED bulbs, use an LED-compatible dimmer.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? This fixture is UL-rated for damp locations, making it suitable for bathrooms with ventilation. It is not rated for wet locations like outdoor uncovered areas.

What's the warranty? Nuvo Lighting offers a 1-year limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Does this work with sloped ceilings? This is a wall-mount fixture, not a ceiling mount, so sloped ceilings are not a concern. It mounts flat against the wall.
