This Nuvo Lighting flood light combines a traditional white aluminum housing with an adjustable swivel bracket and integrated motion sensor. Designed for wet locations, it provides reliable security lighting for driveways, garages, and entryways. The fixture accepts two PAR38 halogen bulbs (not included) and offers a wide 14-inch width for broad coverage.

How bright is it?

Each of the two sockets accepts up to a 150W PAR38 halogen bulb. With two bulbs, total output can reach approximately 3000-4000 lumens (depending on bulb choice), which is very bright - comparable to a car headlight. This is sufficient for illuminating large outdoor areas. For lower brightness, use lower-wattage bulbs.

Light color and feel

Light color depends on the bulbs you choose. PAR38 halogen bulbs typically produce a warm white light (around 3000K). If you prefer a cooler, daylight tone (5000K), use LED PAR38 bulbs. The fixture itself does not affect color temperature.

Sizing and fit

The fixture is 14 inches wide and extends 9.5 inches from the mounting surface. It is designed for wall mounting with a swivel bracket that allows you to aim the light. The motion sensor is integrated into the housing. Ensure the mounting location has adequate clearance for the extension and swivel range.

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. You will need two PAR38 bulbs with a medium base, up to 150W each (halogen or LED).

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Dimmability depends on the bulbs used. If you install dimmable LED bulbs, you can use a standard dimmer. However, this fixture is typically used with motion sensor control, not a wall dimmer.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? Yes, it is rated for wet locations, so it can be installed outdoors exposed to rain or snow. It is not intended for indoor bathrooms unless they are wet-rated.

How does the motion sensor work? The motion sensor detects movement within its range and automatically turns the light on. After a set time with no motion, it turns off. The sensor is adjustable via the swivel bracket.
