This Nuvo Lighting pendant combines a brushed nickel canopy and accents with a classic alabaster glass bell shade. The warm glow of the glass complements a variety of decor styles, from transitional to contemporary. It's a versatile choice for task or ambient lighting over a kitchen island, dining table, or in a hallway.

Best for

• Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the counter for task lighting
• Dining tables 36-48 in wide, centered and hung 30-34 in above the tabletop
• Entryways or hallways with 8-9 ft ceilings, used as a single statement pendant
• Breakfast nooks or small dining areas where a single light provides sufficient illumination

Not ideal for

• Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only

How bright is it?

Lumen output depends on the bulb used (not included). With a standard 100W incandescent bulb, expect approximately 1600 lumens - bright enough for task lighting over a kitchen island or dining table, but not sufficient as the primary light for a large living room. For a softer glow, use a 60W bulb (about 800 lumens).

Light color and feel

The alabaster glass shade diffuses light softly, reducing glare and creating a warm, inviting ambiance. The actual color temperature depends on the bulb - use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb for a warm white glow that complements the alabaster glass. The fixture is dimmable when used with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch.

Sizing and fit

The pendant measures 9.75 in wide and 20.5 in tall overall (including canopy and shade). It comes with 48 in of chain, allowing hanging lengths from about 12 in to 60 in. The canopy is 5 in diameter. Suitable for ceilings 8-10 ft; for higher ceilings, additional chain may be needed (not included).
