The Minka Lavery Downtown Edison collection takes an early minimalistic approach to frame and fixture design, bringing together classic simplicity and functionality. The brushed nickel finish complements modern and industrial interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, centered over the island for task and ambient lighting
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table, hung 30-36 inches above the tabletop
- Open-concept living areas where a linear fixture defines the kitchen zone
Not ideal for
- Small kitchens under 8x10 ft - the 41-inch width may overwhelm the space
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft - the fixture hangs down and may feel too low
How bright is it?
With 12 bulbs (not included), brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. Using 60W equivalent LED bulbs, expect around 800-900 lumens per bulb for a total of 9600-10800 lumens - very bright, suitable for primary kitchen lighting.
Light color and feel
Bulb color temperature is your choice. For a warm, inviting glow, use 2700K-3000K bulbs. For task-oriented kitchens, 3500K-4000K provides a crisp, clean light. Dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch allow you to adjust the ambiance.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 41.25 inches long, 16 inches wide, and 5.5 inches high. It is designed for use in the United States only (110 volt wiring). Assembly required.

Returns
