This fixture uses two fluorescent bulbs (not included). Typical 2-lamp T8 or T12 setups produce 2000-3000 lumens—comparable to a 100-150W incandescent, suitable for task lighting in small to medium rooms.

Light color and feel

Fluorescent bulbs are available from 3000K to 5000K. For kitchens and bathrooms, 4000K-5000K cool white is common. The fixture is not dimmable with standard fluorescent bulbs.
