Description
A traditional European-style outdoor wall lantern with one light, finished in earth tone and water glass, for porches, entryways, and garage walls.
The Whittier Cast collection brings old-world character to outdoor spaces with die-cast aluminum construction and a hand-finished earth tone that reads like aged bronze. The water glass shade diffuses light softly while standing up to weather, and the single-candle configuration makes this a versatile choice for flanking a front door or lighting a side entry.
Best for
- Front entryways and porches, mounted singly or in pairs beside the door
- Garage walls and side entries where a compact traditional lantern is needed
- European or traditional home exteriors with matching Whittier Cast post lights
- Covered patios and breezeways with a wall-mount installation
Not ideal for
- Contemporary or minimalist facades that call for clean-lined, modern fixtures
- Large expanses of blank wall where a single 6.5-inch-wide lantern would look undersized
- Applications requiring a dark-sky compliant or fully shielded fixture
How bright is it?
1150 lumens from one 100W bulb - roughly equivalent to a bright 75W incandescent, enough to clearly light a doorway or porch step. Bulb is not included.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white when paired with the specified incandescent bulb - a soft, golden tone that feels welcoming and traditional. Dimmable with a standard dimmer for adjustable evening ambiance.
Sizing and fit
6.5 in wide x 13 in tall with a 7.5-inch extension from the wall and a 5 x 10-inch backplate. The 13-inch height suits most single-story entryways; at 2.86 lbs it is easy to mount on standard wall boxes.
