Maxim Wharf 12in 1-Light Outdoor Wall Lantern | Transitional Empire Bronze Aluminum | Front Porch & Entryway | 12 x 13 x 10.5 in | Model 35003EB

A 12-inch transitional outdoor wall lantern in empire bronze aluminum, built for front porches, entryways, and garage-side lighting.

The Wharf lantern pairs a warm empire bronze finish with clean transitional lines, so it reads classic without feeling dated. Cast in aluminum with a clear glass shade, it throws a wide pool of light beside a door or along a walkway. It is wet-rated, so rain and sprinklers are not a concern.

Best for

• Front doors and covered porches, mounted beside the entry at eye level
• Garages and side entries that need a welcoming pool of light
• Coastal or rainy climates where a wet-rated lantern is required
• Transitional and traditional homes in bronze or dark hardware palettes

Not ideal for

• Very small doorways - at 12 in wide and 13 in deep, it needs breathing room
• Anyone wanting a bright security floodlight - this is an accent lantern, not a flood
• Low-clearance spots where a 10.5 in tall body plus backplate will crowd the trim

How bright is it?

Takes one 100W medium-base incandescent bulb, rated at 1150 lumens - roughly the brightness of a strong porch light, good for lighting a doorway and a few feet of walkway. Bulb not included.

Light color and feel

With a 2700K bulb it gives a warm, golden-white light that flatters brick, wood, and bronze finishes. Dimmable with a standard dimmer when paired with a dimmable bulb.

Sizing and fit

Overall 12 in wide x 10.5 in tall, extending 13 in from the wall, with a 4.75 x 4.75 in backplate and 8.5 in from the center of the outlet. Best on single doors and modest porches; pair two for a double-door entry.
