Description
A black cast-aluminum post lantern for driveways, garden paths, and entry posts, built for wet outdoor exposure.
The Westlake Cast post lantern brings Mediterranean character to outdoor lighting with a black die-cast aluminum body and clear glass shade. Its 1-light design mounts on a standard post or pole, casting a warm 2700K glow that welcomes guests and lights the way after dark. The wet safety rating means it stands up to rain, snow, and coastal air.
Best for
- Driveway and walkway posts where a single lantern marks the path
- Garden and yard posts that need a weather-ready accent light
- Entry and gate posts for a warm welcome after dark
- Coastal or rainy climates thanks to the wet safety rating
Not ideal for
- Indoor use - this is an outdoor post lantern rated for wet locations
- Posts smaller than the 9.5-inch width may look top-heavy
- Buyers who want the bulb included - it is not
How bright is it?
1150 lumens with a 100W incandescent bulb - roughly as bright as a 75W-100W standard bulb, enough to light a path or mark a driveway edge without flooding the whole yard.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. Flatters landscaping and warm exterior finishes. Dimmable with standard dimmers when paired with a compatible bulb.
Sizing and fit
Measures 9.5 in wide x 22 in high and weighs 3.26 lbs. Fits standard outdoor post or pole mounts. Best on posts 6-8 ft tall for even path lighting.
