Description
A 40-inch LED bath vanity light in polished chrome with a clear glass box, built to light a double vanity evenly.
The Vista collection wraps an edge-lit LED panel in clear glass framed by polished chrome metal, with heavy-gauge metal caps trimming each end. Because the panel is edge-lit, light spreads evenly across the width instead of pooling in the center - useful over a wide mirror. The polished chrome finish keeps the look clean and modern.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a double vanity and a mirror roughly 36-48 in wide
- Powder rooms and guest baths that want a slim, modern fixture
- Damp bathroom environments - this fixture is damp rated
- Contemporary and transitional interiors with chrome or polished hardware
Not ideal for
- Outdoor or covered patio use - it is damp rated, not wet rated
- Very small vanities where a 40 in wide fixture would overhang the mirror
- Anyone wanting a warm, golden light - this is a crisp 3000K white
How bright is it?
2200 lumens - bright enough to serve as the primary light over a double vanity, comparable to a strong two-bulb bath bar. It is an integrated LED, so there are no bulbs to replace.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, neutral white that is flattering for grooming and makeup without feeling yellow. Dimmable with a standard Lutron CL dimmer or Leviton dimmer, so you can soften it for evening use.
Sizing and fit
40 in wide by 5.25 in tall, with a 2.5 in extension from the wall. The backplate measures 39 in wide by 4.5 in tall. Plan for a mirror at least as wide as the fixture so the ends do not extend past it.
