Description
A 15.5-inch tall outdoor wall lantern in black die-cast aluminum with seedy glass, built for entryways and patios.
The Senator lantern brings a Mediterranean feel to exterior walls with its black finish, die-cast aluminum construction, and textured seedy glass shade. The glass softens the light while adding visual interest, and the wet safety rating means it stands up to rain and weather.
Best for
- Front entryways and porches, mounted beside the door for welcoming light
- Garages and side doors where a single lantern adds safety and style
- Patios and covered outdoor living areas
- Mediterranean or traditional home exteriors
Not ideal for
- Indoor use where a wet-rated fixture is unnecessary
- Very small walls with limited space - the 7-inch width and 8-inch extension need room
- Applications requiring a bulb included - this fixture does not include one
How bright is it?
With a 100W bulb, it produces up to 1150 lumens - roughly equivalent to a bright 75W-100W incandescent. That's ample for illuminating a doorway or patio area, but not for lighting a whole yard.
Light color and feel
The fixture itself does not dictate color temperature; the bulb you choose does. The seedy glass adds a subtle texture that softens the light. For a warm, welcoming glow, pair with a 2700K bulb.
