Description
A dark grey and gold leaf wall sconce for bedrooms and hallways, with a scalloped metal shade that casts a warm downward glow.
The Primrose sconce pairs a dark grey steel body with a hand-applied gold leaf interior, so the shade reflects light downward in a warm, inviting wash. Its nostalgic scalloped detailing suits traditional and transitional interiors, and the 1-light design works as an accent beside a bed or along a hallway.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading sconce beside the bed
- Hallways and stairwells that need a warm accent light
- Entryways and foyers where a single sconce adds character
- Damp locations like covered porches and bathrooms
Not ideal for
- Very small spaces where the 12-inch extension may protrude too far
- Buyers who want the bulb included - it is not
- Rooms that need bright task lighting - this is an accent sconce
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With one 60W medium-base bulb, it provides accent light for hallways and bedside use - not a primary room light.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white when paired with an incandescent bulb - a soft, golden tone. The gold leaf interior reflects the light downward for a warmer glow. Dimmable with a standard dimmer when used with a compatible bulb.
