Description
A 22-inch wet-rated outdoor wall lantern in Earth Tone with water glass, sized for porches, garage entries, and side doors.
From Maxim's Morrow Bay VX collection, this lantern is made of Vivex - a material the brand describes as twice the strength of resin, non-corrosive, and UV resistant. The Earth Tone finish is a warm brown with a hand-finished, slightly weathered look, and the water glass shade spreads a single 100W bulb into a soft, even glow. The tall, narrow European silhouette reads traditional without being ornate.
Best for
- Front porches and entries where a mid-height 22-inch lantern suits the door scale
- Garage walls and side doors that need a taller accent than a small lantern
- Coastal and lake homes - the Vivex body is non-corrosive and UV resistant
- Pairing on either side of a single door for a matched look
Not ideal for
- Two-story facades where a 22 in lantern looks undersized
- Narrow trim - at 8.5 in wide it needs a clear wall section
- Anyone wanting the bulb included - it is not
How bright is it?
1150 lumens with the specified 100W bulb - brighter than a typical porch light, enough to clearly light a doorway and steps. Still entry lighting rather than a driveway floodlight.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white - a golden, traditional tone that flatters brick, stone, and painted siding. Dimmable with a standard dimmer.
Sizing and fit
8.5 in wide x 22 in tall with a 9.5 in extension and an 11 in height from the center of the outlet. The 5.75 x 12.75 in backplate covers a standard junction box. Best on entries with 9 ft or taller ceilings.
