Description
A five-light chandelier in satin nickel with frosted glass shades, sized for dining rooms and foyers.
The Malaga chandelier keeps things classic: a satin nickel frame in a transitional silhouette, dressed with frosted glass shades that soften the bulbs into an even glow. It is the kind of well-priced, well-made fixture that suits both new builds and updates, and it hangs from a 36-inch chain so you can set the drop to your ceiling.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a table roughly 5-6 ft long, hung 30-36 in above the surface
- Foyers and two-story entries with 9 ft or higher ceilings
- Transitional and traditional interiors with nickel or brushed-metal accents
- Living rooms that want a central statement light without going ornate
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is dry-listed for indoor use only
- Rooms with ceilings under about 8 ft if you want the full 36-inch chain drop
- Small powder rooms where a 25-inch chandelier would overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
Rated at 5750 lumens with the five 100W bulbs installed - bright enough to serve as the primary light in a dining room or foyer.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on your bulbs; the fixture is dimmable with a standard dimmer, so you can go from bright task light to a warm dinner-table glow. The frosted glass shades diffuse the bulbs and reduce glare.
Sizing and fit
25 in wide x 16 in high, with a 36 in chain and 180 in wire, weighing 11.68 lbs. The 25-inch spread suits tables and foyers in the 5-6 ft range; on taller ceilings add chain links to keep the chandelier at eye-pleasing height.
