Description
A compact 4.25-inch wall sconce in brushed aluminum that throws light up and down for architectural exterior accents.
Lightray is an indirect up-and-down sconce designed to wash a wall with light rather than glare at eye level. The brushed aluminum body is sealed with a screw-down water-tight lens, so it can take standard bulbs in exposed exterior spots. Use it to highlight columns, facades, and entry walls.
Best for
- Exterior walls and columns where up-and-down light creates an architectural wash
- Entryways and garage walls that need a modern, low-profile accent
- Modern and contemporary facades in aluminum or grey palettes
- Covered patios and breezeways where indirect light is preferred
Not ideal for
- Anyone wanting a bright doorway light - this is an accent wash, not a porch lantern
- Interior bathrooms or damp interior spaces - the source lists a dry safety rating
- Very large walls that need a bigger, more visible fixture
How bright is it?
Takes one 50W R20 medium-base bulb; lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It is an accent wash, not a primary light source. Bulb not included.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose - a warm 2700K bulb gives a soft golden wash, while a cooler bulb reads more modern. No color temperature is specified for the fixture itself.
Sizing and fit
Overall 4.25 in wide x 8 in tall, extending 6.5 in from the wall. Compact enough for narrow columns and tight wall sections; mount roughly 6-8 ft up for a clean up-and-down wash.

Frequently asked
Is the bulb included? No - it takes one 50W R20 medium-base bulb, sold separately.
Is it dimmable? Dimming depends on the bulb and dimmer used; the fixture itself does not specify a dimmer rating.
Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? The source lists a dry safety rating, so it is intended for dry locations - not bathrooms with shower exposure or uncovered outdoor walls.
What's the warranty? Warranty information is not specified by the manufacturer.
Does it really light both up and down? Yes - it is an up-and-down sconce designed for indirect wall washing.
