Description
A 25-inch six-light chandelier with a spherical metal frame draped in cognac crystal, made for dining rooms and foyers that want a transitional centerpiece.
Orbit wraps a simple line chandelier inside a sphere of oil rubbed bronze metal, then hangs crystal drops through the frame for a look that bridges traditional and modern interiors. The dark bronze finish keeps the crystal from feeling too formal, so it works in both classic and contemporary rooms.
Best for
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, centered over a table 48-60 in wide
- Two-story foyers and entryways where the 28 in height fills the vertical space
- Living rooms with transitional or soft-modern furnishings
- Bedrooms large enough for a 27 in wide hanging fixture
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is dry-rated only
- Low ceilings under 8 ft, where a 28 in tall chandelier plus chain crowds the room
- Small powder rooms - at 27 in wide it needs a generous footprint
How bright is it?
Takes six 60W candelabra incandescent bulbs (not included). Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but six 60W candelabra lamps give ample ambient light for a dining room or foyer rather than task lighting.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose. With 2700K candelabra bulbs you get a warm, golden glow that flatters the cognac crystal and bronze frame. The fixture is dimmable with a standard dimmer, so you can take it from bright dinner light down to a soft evening glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 27 in wide x 27 in deep x 30 in high, with a 25 in body width and 28 in body height. At this size it suits dining rooms and foyers with ceilings of 8 ft or higher. Weighs 26.46 lbs, so confirm your ceiling box is rated for the load.
