Maxim Lighting Ledge 7in 1-Light Outdoor ADA Wall Sconce | Modern White Aluminum and Glass | Entryway & Patio | 4.75 x 7 in | Model 86196WT

A compact 7-inch ADA-compliant outdoor wall sconce in white aluminum with a concealed LED that throws light downward - built for entryways, patios, and dark-sky applications.

The Ledge sconce keeps a low profile while doing real work. Its architectural frame extends at the top so the integrated LED washes light straight down where you need it - along a walkway, across a step, or beside a door. Because the light source is hidden inside the top of the frame, it qualifies for Dark Sky use and won't glare into the night. White aluminum with a glass lens, rated for wet locations.

Best for

• Front entryways and porch walls beside a door
• Covered patios, walkways, and stairwells that need downward light
• Dark Sky applications where glare control matters
• Narrow wall spaces - the 4-inch extension keeps it out of the way

Not ideal for

• Anyone wanting a large statement sconce - this is a compact 4.75 x 7 in fixture
• Spaces that need broad, even illumination - the light is directed downward only
• Indoor dry-location installs where a wet-rated fixture is overkill

How bright is it?

500 lumens - roughly the output of a 40W incandescent bulb. That is accent and pathway light, not a primary light source. It is designed to mark a door or light a step, not flood a patio.

Light color and feel

3000K warm white - a soft, slightly golden tone that reads welcoming rather than clinical. CRI 90 renders colors accurately, so brick, stone, and wood finishes look true. Dimmable with a Triac or ELV dimmer at 120V. Rated for 50,000 hours.

Sizing and fit

4.75 in W x 7 in H with a 4 in extension from the wall and a 3.25 in height from center of outlet. Backplate is 7 in H x 4.75 in W. ADA compliant, so it stays within the 4-inch projection limit for accessible routes. Weighs 1.4 lbs.
