Description
A two-light wall sconce in Etruscan Gold iron, topped with delicate leaves and crystals - a decorative accent for bedrooms, hallways, and dining rooms.
Elegante is one of Maxim's most popular collections because it treats lighting as decor. Wrap-around vines in a warm Etruscan Gold finish carry leaf, flower, and fruit details, with crystals finishing the top. The result is a traditional, romantic look that suits classic and cottage interiors.
Best for
- Bedrooms, flanking a bed or dressing area as a decorative accent
- Hallways and stairwells where a warm uplight adds character
- Dining rooms and living rooms with traditional or French-country furnishings
- Powder rooms and bathrooms where the sconce sits away from direct shower spray
Not ideal for
- Covered outdoor areas - this fixture is dry-rated only
- Rooms that need strong task light - at 1344 lumens it is an accent, not a primary light
- Modern or industrial interiors where the vine-and-crystal detail would clash
How bright is it?
About 1344 lumens with the specified bulbs - roughly comparable to a bright 100W incandescent, enough for accent and ambient light in a hallway or beside a bed, but not a substitute for a room's main light.
Light color and feel
Rated at 2700K warm white, a soft golden tone that flatters skin tones and warm wood or gold interiors. Rated life is 1500 hours. Dimmable with a standard dimmer for evening ambiance.
Sizing and fit
Measures 12 in wide x 9.5 in high with a 6.5 in extension from the wall, so it projects modestly into a hallway or beside a bed. Weighs 1.81 lbs. Lighting direction is up, which casts a soft glow across the ceiling and wall.
