Description
A hand-strung cotton rope wall sconce for bedrooms, hallways, and coastal-inspired interiors that need soft, textured accent light.
The Aveline collection celebrates natural texture, wrapping clean cylindrical steel frames in hand-strung cotton rope shades. Finished in Natural Aged Brass, the simplified silhouette lets the artisanal craftsmanship take center stage. Relaxed yet refined, it layers effortlessly with both traditional and contemporary decor.
Best for
- Primary bedrooms and guest rooms, mounted as a reading sconce beside the bed
- Hallways and stairwells where a slim, ADA-compliant profile is required
- Living rooms and entryways styled with coastal, transitional, or organic-modern decor
- Pairs flanking a mirror or console table for layered ambient light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms needing a primary light source - this is an accent fixture, not a room-filler
- Spaces where you want a bold, oversized statement piece
How bright is it?
Lumen output not specified by manufacturer. With two 60W E26 bulbs (not included), expect roughly 1600 lumens total - comparable to two standard 60W incandescent bulbs. That's ample for accent and ambient light, but not enough to light a whole room on its own.
Light color and feel
Bulbs are not included, so color temperature is up to you. Choose 2700K-3000K warm white for a soft, golden glow that flatters skin tones and warm wood or brass interiors, or 3500K for a crisper look in hallways. Dimmable with Triac or ELV dimmers.
Sizing and fit
Measures 27.25 in wide x 4.75 in high with a 4 in extension from the wall and a 5 x 5 in backplate. The 2.5 in height to center makes it easy to align with wall art or a headboard. ADA compliant, so it stays within the 4 in projection limit for corridors and accessible spaces.
