Maxim Lighting Albatross 72in 6-Blade Outdoor Ceiling Fan with LED | Coastal Black ABS | Covered Patio & Veranda | 72 x 72 x 13 in | Model 88367WTBK

A 72-inch six-blade outdoor ceiling fan with integrated LED light in black, built with marine-grade materials for covered patios, verandas, and coastal homes.

The Albatross collection is engineered for large outdoor spaces where durability matters. Its 72-inch blade span and six ABS blades move a high volume of air, while the wet-rated construction stands up to humid, salty coastal conditions. The integrated LED light adds illumination without a separate kit, and the black finish gives the fan a bold, modern presence against light or dark ceilings.

Best for

• Covered patios and verandas 20 x 20 ft or larger that need airflow and light
• Coastal homes where salt air and humidity are a daily concern
• Outdoor living rooms and pergolas with ceilings at least 9 ft high
• Anyone who wants one fixture for both airflow and ambient light outdoors

Not ideal for

• Indoor bedrooms or living rooms - the 72-inch span is oversized for most interior spaces
• Uncovered areas fully exposed to direct rain, where any fan will wear faster
• Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, where the 11.5-inch blade-to-ceiling drop may feel low

How bright is it?

The integrated LED produces 1400 lumens - roughly the output of a 100W incandescent bulb. That is enough to light a covered patio or veranda as ambient light, but it is not intended as a single primary light source for a very large open space.

Light color and feel

The LED is tunable from 2700K to 6000K, so you can shift from warm, golden white for evening gatherings to cool, crisp white for tasks. With a CRI of 90, colors render accurately. The light is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 72 in L x 72 in W x 13 in H, with an overall max height of 17 inches and a blade-to-ceiling height of 11.5 inches. The canopy measures 6 x 6 x 2.5 inches and 40 inches of wire is included. Best for large covered outdoor rooms with ceilings at least 9 ft high.
