Description
A large European-style outdoor wall lantern in a Sienna finish with Seedy glass, sized for grand entries, porches, and stone facades.
Knob Hill Cast brings old-world character outdoors - a die cast aluminum body in a warm Sienna finish, paired with Seedy glass that adds subtle texture to the light. At 33 in tall it is a substantial lantern, meant to flank a prominent door or anchor a large porch wall.
Best for
- Grand front entries and double doors where a large lantern is proportionate
- Stone, stucco, and brick facades in European, Tudor, and traditional styles
- Covered porches and porticos with generous wall space
- Paired in twos to frame a wide doorway or garage bay
Not ideal for
- Small doors and narrow walls - at 13 in wide and 33 in tall it needs room to breathe
- Low porch ceilings - the 33 in height and 18.5 in projection demand clearance
- Post or pier mounting - wall mount only
How bright is it?
Takes three 60W candelabra bulbs, listed at 2016 lumens - a bright, welcoming porch light that covers a doorway and a good stretch of walkway. Bulbs not included.
Light color and feel
At 2700K it gives a warm, golden-white light, and the Seedy glass softens and textures the glow for an old-world feel. Dimmable with a standard dimmer.
Sizing and fit
13 in wide, 18.5 in extension, 33 in tall, with a 7.75 x 15 in backplate. Best on walls with at least 40 in of clear height and a porch ceiling of 9 ft or more; the 18.5 in projection needs open space.
