Description
A 1-light pendant in a bronze finish with a frosted glass diffuser, inspired by industrial lighting and designed for kitchens and dining areas.
The Hi-Bay collection takes cues from industrial lighting but refines the details for a cleaner look. This pendant features a metal shade in bronze with a frosted glass diffuser that conceals the bulb and gently diffuses the light, creating a soft, even glow. The adjustable height makes it suitable for a range of ceiling heights.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and dining rooms, hung singly or in a row over a table or counter
- Industrial or modern interiors that call for a bold, utilitarian look
- Spaces with sloped ceilings - the fixture supports up to a 120-degree slope
- Entryways or foyers where a statement pendant is desired
Not ideal for
- Low ceilings under 8 feet if you need the full 61-inch hanging length
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - this fixture is dry rated only
- Spaces that require a very bright primary light source - this is an accent pendant
How bright is it?
1150 lumens when used with a 100W PAR30 incandescent bulb - about as bright as a standard 100W bulb. It provides strong accent and task lighting for a kitchen island or dining table, but is not intended to light an entire room on its own.
Light color and feel
With a 2700K incandescent bulb, the light is warm white, similar to traditional incandescent lighting. The frosted glass diffuser softens the light and reduces glare. The fixture is dimmable with a standard dimmer, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the mood.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 17.75 inches wide by 17 inches high, with an overall height of 61 inches including the wire. The wire length is 72 inches, allowing adjustment for different ceiling heights. It is suitable for rooms with ceilings of 9 feet or higher; for lower ceilings, the hanging length can be shortened. The fixture supports sloped ceilings up to 120 degrees.
