Description
A 12-inch round flush mount in oil rubbed bronze with a Wilshire glass shade, sized for bedrooms, hallways, and closets that need a low-profile ceiling light.
Part of Maxim's Essentials - 584x collection, this flush mount keeps a low 6-inch profile so it works under standard 8-foot ceilings without crowding the room. The oil rubbed bronze finish has a dark, warm patina that reads traditional or builder-grade transitional, and the Wilshire glass shade softens the bulb glare into an even glow.
Best for
- Bedrooms and guest rooms with 8-foot ceilings where a hanging fixture would feel too low
- Hallways and entryways that need a simple, close-to-ceiling light
- Closets, laundry rooms, and utility spaces where a basic ceiling light is enough
- Builder and rental updates where a classic bronze finish blends with existing hardware
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is dry-rated only
- Large living rooms or open kitchens where you need a primary light source with more output
- Rooms where you want a design statement - this is a clean, understated builder fixture
How bright is it?
672 lumens with the recommended 60W incandescent bulb - roughly the brightness of a standard 60W bulb, enough for a bedroom or hallway but not for lighting a large room on its own.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. It flatters warm wood and bronze finishes and feels cozy rather than crisp. Dimmable with a standard dimmer when paired with a dimmable bulb.
Sizing and fit
12 inches wide by 12 inches deep by 6 inches high. The 6-inch height keeps it close to the ceiling, so it suits rooms with 8-foot ceilings and works in hallways as narrow as about 3 feet. Weighs 2.2 lbs.
