Description
A single-light wall sconce in a white finish with a white glass shade, built for bedrooms, hallways, and other dry indoor spaces that need soft upward accent light.
Part of Maxim's Essentials collection, this sconce pairs a clean white iron frame with a white glass shade for a quiet, transitional look that blends into painted walls and neutral palettes. The shade directs light upward, so it reads as a gentle wash of light on the wall rather than a harsh downlight.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted beside the bed as a reading or accent sconce
- Hallways and stairwells where a low-profile upward light is wanted
- Living rooms and dining areas used as secondary ambient light
- Entryways and foyers that need a soft welcome glow
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is dry-location rated only
- Rooms that need a primary light source - at 1150 lumens it works best as accent light
- Spaces where you want light directed downward onto a task surface
How bright is it?
1150 lumens with the rated bulb - roughly comparable to a 75W incandescent bulb. That is enough to light a hallway or accent a wall, but it is not intended as the only light in a large room.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. It flatters warm wood, cream, and white interiors. The fixture is dimmable with a standard dimmer, so you can take it down for evening ambience.
Sizing and fit
10.5 in wide by 5.5 in high with a 5.5 in extension from the wall. The compact footprint suits narrow hallways and bedside placements where a larger fixture would crowd the wall.
