Description
A straightforward indoor wall sconce for hallways, bedrooms, and bathrooms, finished in Oil Rubbed Bronze with a Marble glass shade.
Part of Maxim's Essentials collection, this sconce is designed for builders and remodels where you need reliable, good-looking lighting without fuss. The Oil Rubbed Bronze finish has a dark, slightly warm tone that suits traditional and transitional interiors, and the Marble glass shade diffuses light evenly with a soft, creamy look.
Best for
- Hallways and stairwells where you want gentle upward light
- Bedrooms as a reading light or accent beside the bed
- Bathrooms over a vanity or mirror (dry-rated, so avoid direct shower spray)
- Entryways and mudrooms that need a simple, durable sconce
Not ideal for
- Damp or wet locations such as covered porches or bathrooms with open showers - this fixture is dry-rated only
- Large rooms that need a primary light source; it is an accent sconce
- Modern minimalist spaces where a cleaner, more contemporary look is preferred
How bright is it?
1150 lumens with the recommended 100W incandescent bulb - about as bright as a strong reading lamp, enough for a hallway or bedside. It is not intended to light a whole room on its own.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white, a soft golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. The Marble glass shade softens the light and reduces glare. Dimmable with a standard dimmer when used with compatible bulbs.
Sizing and fit
13 inches wide by 6 inches high with a 6-inch extension from the wall. The wide backplate suits standard wall boxes. Works well in hallways 3-4 feet wide and bedrooms of any size; for a bathroom, mount above a single vanity.
