Description
A 1-light outdoor wall lantern in bronze with seedy glass, sized for porches, entryways, and garage-side walls.
The Dover Cast collection leans into traditional Mediterranean styling: a die-cast aluminum body in a deep bronze finish, wrapped around seedy glass that softens the bulb while letting the warm glow through. It is a compact lantern, so it reads as an accent beside a door rather than a floodlight over a driveway.
Best for
- Front entryways and covered porches, flanking a door in pairs
- Garage side walls and back doors where a small accent light is enough
- Mediterranean, Spanish colonial, and traditional stucco exteriors
- Coastal homes that want a lantern look without polished brass
Not ideal for
- Large driveways or wide facades that need broad, high-output illumination
- Anyone wanting an integrated LED - this takes a standard medium-base bulb, sold separately
How bright is it?
Rated for up to 100W with a medium-base incandescent bulb, which the manufacturer lists at roughly 1150 lumens - about as bright as a strong traditional porch bulb. That is enough to light a doorway and a few feet of walkway, not a whole yard.
Light color and feel
The listed 2700K color temperature is a warm, golden white similar to a classic incandescent porch light. Because the bulb is not included, the final color depends on the bulb you choose; a 2700K bulb keeps the warm look. Standard dimming is supported if you wire it to a dimmer.
Sizing and fit
The lantern measures 6.5 in wide by 9.5 in tall with a 7.5 in extension from the wall, and the backplate is 5 in wide by 6.5 in tall. The mounting point sits 5 in from the center of the outlet. At this size it suits single-door entries and modest porch walls; on a very tall two-story facade it will look undersized.
