Description
A traditional 3-light outdoor wall lantern for front porches and entryways, finished in Oriental Bronze with water glass.
The Carriage House DC collection brings early American character to exterior walls. The die-cast aluminum body is finished in Oriental Bronze, a deep brown tone with subtle highlights, and paired with textured water glass that softens the light while standing up to the elements.
Best for
- Front porches and entryways beside a single or double door
- Garage walls and side entries that need a welcoming accent
- Covered patios and breezeways where a larger lantern suits the scale
- Traditional and colonial-style homes with brick or siding exteriors
Not ideal for
- Low-clearance areas under 8 ft ceilings - the 26.5 in height needs breathing room
- Modern minimalist facades where an early American silhouette would clash
- Spaces where you need bright task lighting - this is an accent lantern, not a floodlight
How bright is it?
2016 lumens with the recommended bulbs - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent, enough to light a doorway and immediate surroundings. It is an accent and welcome light, not a primary security floodlight.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white - a soft, golden glow similar to traditional incandescent. The water glass diffuses the light to reduce glare and create a vintage look. Dimmable with a standard dimmer for adjustable brightness.
Sizing and fit
12.5 in wide x 26.5 in high with a 15.5 in extension from the wall. The backplate measures 6.5 in wide x 15.5 in high, and the height from the center of the outlet is 12 in. Best suited to entries with at least 8 ft ceilings and wall space that can accommodate a lantern of this scale.
