Description
A 1-light outdoor wall mount in a white finish with clear glass, designed for entryways, porches, and other exterior walls.
From Maxim Lighting's Builder Cast collection, this wall mount combines a classic early American silhouette with a crisp white finish and clear glass. The die-cast aluminum construction is built to withstand the elements, and the clear glass shade lets the bulb's light shine through brightly.
Best for
- Front entryways and porches, mounted beside the door for a welcoming light
- Garage walls and side doors where a single fixture provides accent lighting
- Covered patios and outdoor living areas that need a traditional touch
- Homes with early American or colonial-style architecture
Not ideal for
- Very large walls or two-story facades where a larger lantern would be proportionate
- Modern or minimalist exteriors that call for a sleeker fixture
- Areas that require a brighter primary light source - this is an accent lantern
How bright is it?
1150 lumens when used with a 100W incandescent bulb - about as bright as a standard 100W bulb. It provides strong accent and ambient light for an entryway or porch, but is not intended to light a large driveway or yard on its own.
Light color and feel
With a 2700K incandescent bulb, the light is warm white, similar to traditional incandescent lighting. The clear glass shade allows maximum light output. The fixture is dimmable with a standard dimmer, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the evening.
Sizing and fit
The wall mount measures 8 inches wide by 16.5 inches high with a 9.5-inch extension from the wall. It stands 2 inches from the center of the outlet to the top. The backplate is 4.5 inches wide by 5.75 inches high. This size suits single-door entries and medium-sized wall spaces; for double doors or large facades, consider a larger fixture or a pair.
