Maxim Builder Cast 1-Light Outdoor Wall Lantern | Early American White Die Cast Aluminum and Clear Glass | Porch & Entryway | Model 1025WT

A compact 1-light outdoor wall lantern in white die cast aluminum with clear glass, sized for porches, entryways, and garage doors.

The Builder Cast collection keeps things simple and sturdy: a die cast aluminum body in a clean white finish, wrapped around clear glass so the bulb reads bright and unobstructed. The early American silhouette suits traditional and colonial-style homes without looking dated on a modern porch.

Best for

• Front entryways and porches, flanking a door or mounted singly beside it
• Garage doors and side entries where a small footprint matters
• Covered patios and pergolas - wet rated for direct weather exposure
• Traditional, colonial, and early American exteriors

Not ideal for

• Large facades that need a bigger visual anchor - at 8.5 in tall this is a small lantern
• Buyers wanting an integrated LED - this takes a standard medium base bulb, sold separately

How bright is it?

Rated for up to 60W with a medium base bulb. With a typical 60W-equivalent bulb you get roughly 672 lumens - about as bright as a standard 60W incandescent, enough to light a doorway and a few feet of walkway, not a whole yard.

Light color and feel

Light color depends on the bulb you install; the 2700K figure in the specs refers to the reference incandescent bulb. A warm white bulb keeps the traditional look, while clear glass lets the filament show for a classic porch glow. Dimmable with a standard dimmer when paired with a dimmable bulb.

Sizing and fit

5.5 in wide x 8.5 in tall with a 6.5 in extension from the wall and a 4.5 x 4.5 in backplate. The 2.5 in height from the center of the outlet keeps it tidy beside most door frames. Best on single-story entries or as a secondary light on larger homes.
