Description
A compact outdoor wall lantern in copper oxide finish with golden frost glass, built for porches, entries, and patios.
Part of the Balboa VX EE collection, this lantern is made from Vivex - a non-corrosive, UV-resistant material that holds up to weather better than standard metal. The copper oxide finish has a warm, aged look, and the golden frost glass softens the light into a gentle glow. It is wet rated, so it can handle direct rain.
Best for
- Front entries and porches beside a door, mounted about 4 in above the outlet center
- Covered patios and garage walls exposed to weather - it is wet rated
- Transitional exteriors with warm copper, brick, or stone tones
- Energy-conscious builds - it is Energy Star rated and meets California Title 24
Not ideal for
- Indoor use where a warm, dimmable accent is wanted - this is an outdoor fixture
- Large walls that need a big statement lantern - at 9.5 in tall it is compact
- Anyone wanting a bright white light - the golden frost glass casts a warm tone
How bright is it?
900 lumens - roughly the output of a 60W incandescent bulb, enough to light a doorway or small patio area. It is not intended to flood a large yard.
Light color and feel
2700K warm white with a color rendering index of 81-82 - a soft, golden light that suits the copper finish and golden frost glass. The included 13W GU24 fluorescent bulb is rated for about 10,000 hours.
Sizing and fit
6.5 in wide by 9.5 in tall, with an 8 in extension from the wall. The backplate measures 4.5 in W x 7.5 in H, and the mounting point sits 4 in from the center of the outlet. Best scaled for a single door or a pair flanking a garage.
