The Irene-5 from Matthews Fan Company combines rustic, solid wood blades with a sleek spherical motor housing in textured bronze. The walnut tone adds warmth, while the modern silhouette keeps it streamlined. With an energy-efficient DC motor, it delivers quiet, powerful airflow.

- Bedrooms and home offices 12x14 ft or larger, for quiet air circulation
- Covered patios and porches in damp locations (not for salt-water ocean front)

- Vaulted ceilings up to 30 degrees with the included angled-mount canopy
- Homes with high ceilings, using the included 10-inch downrod or an optional longer one
Not ideal for
- Ocean-front homes or salt-water exposure - the manufacturer does not recommend this fan for those environments
- Large open-plan spaces over 300 sq ft where a 42-inch sweep may be insufficient
- Low ceilings under 8 ft without a flush-mount option (this fan requires a downrod)

This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. It is designed for air movement only.

The fan measures 42 inches in diameter and 11 inches in height (excluding downrod). It includes a 10-inch downrod, and the canopy fits vaulted ceilings up to 30 degrees. Ideal for rooms at least 10x12 ft, with the fan blades at least 7 ft above the floor.

Returns
Almost all products on hausappeal.com are returnable. The few exceptions include unsealed mattresses, assembled or modified products, and clearance merchandise. Any product that is non-returnable will note that on its product page.
All returns must be unused and shipped back in the original packaging to the warehouse address from which the order was shipped.  To initiate a return, send an email to us at Service@hausappeal.com so that we can provide you with a Return Authorization Number. Upon inspection of the return, you will receive a full refund of product cost minus our outbound shipping costs.
