Matthews Fan Company Duplo Dinamico 36in Rotational Ceiling Fan | Chrome High Gauge Steel and Mahogany Wood Blades | Indoor | Model DD-CR-WD-DAMP

A 36-inch rotational ceiling fan from Matthews Fan Company, designed for indoor and covered outdoor spaces with damp-rated durability.

The Duplo Dinamico is a handmade statement piece that pairs a chrome high-gauge steel motor housing with rich mahogany wood blades. Its unique rotational design allows for versatile airflow, making it a functional and sculptural addition to modern and transitional interiors. This fan is built to last, with a robust construction that suits both living spaces and covered patios.

Best for

• Living rooms and great rooms with ceilings at least 8 ft high, where the rotational design becomes a focal point
• Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms with damp-rated exposure, adding comfort without worrying about moisture
• Bedrooms and home offices needing a quiet, energy-efficient air circulation solution
• Open-concept spaces where a standard fan might feel too bulky, thanks to its compact 36-inch sweep
• Design-forward interiors that appreciate handmade, American-made craftsmanship

Not ideal for

• Small rooms under 8 ft ceilings, as the downrod and rotational design require adequate clearance
• Uncovered outdoor areas exposed to direct rain, as it is rated for damp, not wet, locations
• Spaces with very low ceilings (under 7 ft) where the fan's height could pose a safety hazard

How bright is it?

This ceiling fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. It is designed for air circulation, not illumination.

Light color and feel

No light source is included, so color temperature and dimming are not applicable. The fan's aesthetic contributes to the room's ambiance through its sleek chrome and warm wood tones.

The fan measures 36 inches in width, 9 inches in depth, and 9 inches in height, plus a 10-inch downrod (additional downrod lengths available). It weighs 30 lbs and is suitable for rooms with ceilings of at least 8 feet. The rotational design requires ample clearance from walls and furniture.
