Description
A 40-inch rotational ceiling fan from Matthews Fan Company's Brisa 2000 Collection, finished in brushed nickel with mahogany wood blades, designed for indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The Brisa 2000 is a handmade, high-gauge steel ceiling fan that brings a warm, modern look to any room. The brushed nickel motor housing pairs beautifully with the rich mahogany blades, creating a fan that feels both refined and functional. Made in the USA, this fan is built to last and is rated for damp locations, so it can handle covered patios and other humid areas with ease.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Living rooms and great rooms with 40-inch blade span for effective air circulation
- Bedrooms and home offices needing a quiet, stylish ceiling fan
- Coastal or transitional interiors where wood and metal finishes complement the decor
Not ideal for
- Small rooms under 8x8 feet where a 40-inch fan may be overpowering
- Indoor-only spaces if you prefer a fan without a damp rating (though this one is versatile)
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet if you plan to use a longer downrod (additional downrods available)
How bright is it?
This ceiling fan does not include a light kit, so brightness is not applicable. It is designed for air circulation, not illumination.
Light color and feel
No light source is included, so there is no color temperature or CRI to report. The fan's finish and blade color will influence the room's aesthetic, with the mahogany wood adding warmth and the brushed nickel providing a cool, modern contrast.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 40 inches in width, 7 inches in depth, and 7 inches in height (plus downrod). It includes a 10-inch downrod, and additional sizes (5, 20, 30, 48, or 72 inches) are available upon request. This fan is suitable for medium to large rooms, and the damp rating allows installation in covered outdoor areas.
