The Alessandra Tropical from Matthews Fans brings a minimal tropical form to spaces that need both airflow and light. Its cast aluminum and heavy stamped steel construction is built to withstand fully exposed outdoor areas, while the ABS blades resist moisture and maintain their finish. The integrated LED light kit offers five color temperatures and is dimmable, letting you adjust the ambiance from warm to cool. With a DC motor, it runs silently and efficiently, and the included remote control makes it easy to operate from across the room.

How bright is it?

The integrated LED light kit produces between 1063 and 1234 lumens depending on the color temperature setting—roughly equivalent to a 75-watt incandescent bulb. This is sufficient for ambient lighting in a large room, but not for task lighting. The brightness is adjustable via the remote control.

Light color and feel

Choose from five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 4000K (neutral white), 5000K (daylight), and 6500K (cool daylight). With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate. The light is dimmable, allowing you to set the perfect mood for any occasion.

Sizing and fit

This fan has a 48-inch blade span and a 16-degree blade pitch, ideal for rooms 144-225 square feet. The overall dimensions are 48 inches wide by 48 inches deep by 8 inches high, with 5-inch and 10-inch downrods included. It fits ceilings with up to a 30-degree slope, and a 60-degree cathedral ceiling adapter is available separately. The canopy is 6 inches in diameter.
