Description
A traditional single-light outdoor wall lantern in textured white cast aluminum with hand-blown clear water glass, built for front porches and entryways.
The Oxford lantern brings antique-style charm to the exterior of a home. A decorative wall plate and curved arm frame a clear water glass shade that scatters light with a vintage, rippled texture. The textured white finish keeps the look crisp and classic against siding, brick, or stone.
Best for
- Front entryways and porches, flanking a door in pairs
- Garages and side doors where a traditional lantern suits the architecture
- Homes with Victorian, colonial, or classic curb appeal
- Covered patios and porticos that need a warm accent light
Not ideal for
- Modern or minimalist facades that call for a clean, geometric look
- Very tight wall spaces - the fixture projects 11 in from the wall
- Anyone wanting a downward-only beam; this lantern faces upward
How bright is it?
Takes one 100W medium-base bulb (not included). Actual brightness depends on the bulb you choose - a 100W-equivalent LED gives strong, welcoming light for a doorway, while a lower-wattage bulb suits softer accent use.
Light color and feel
Light color follows the bulb you install. A warm white bulb (around 2700-3000K) pairs well with the traditional styling and clear water glass for a soft, golden exterior glow.
Sizing and fit
Measures 9.5 in wide x 19 in high with an 11 in extension from the wall. The backplate is 4.5 in W x 8.5 in H. At 19 in tall it suits single-story entries and standard door heights; pair two for a balanced look around a door.
