Livex Monaco 20in 2-Light Semi-Flush Mount | Modern Black Chrome Steel Sputnik | Living Room & Bedroom | 20 x 5.12 x 5 in | Model 46842-46

A two-light Sputnik-style semi-flush mount in black chrome, sized for living rooms, modern dining rooms, kitchens, and bedrooms.

The Monaco collection takes its cue from mid-century Sputnik design, with exposed bulbs set at the ends of rectangular steel arms that reach out in multiple directions. The black chrome finish gives the linear frame a darker, more urban edge while keeping a subtle sheen. At just 5 inches tall, it hugs the ceiling while still adding airiness and motion overhead.

Best for

• Living rooms and modern dining rooms that want a sculptural focal point without a hanging fixture
• Bedrooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings where a low-profile semi-flush keeps headroom clear
• Kitchens and breakfast nooks used as ambient accent lighting over a table
• Hallways and foyers that need a compact statement piece

Not ideal for

• Wet or exposed outdoor locations - rated for dry and damp locations only
• Large rooms expecting a single fixture to light the whole space - two 60W candelabra bulbs give accent-level output
• Spaces where you want a shaded, glare-free look - the bulbs are fully exposed

How bright is it?

Takes two 60W candelabra-base bulbs (not included). Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer and depends on the bulbs you choose; expect accent and ambient light rather than primary room illumination. Candelabra LEDs in the 500-800 lumen range per bulb work well here.

Light color and feel

Color temperature is set by your bulbs, not the fixture. Warm white (2700-3000K) candelabra LEDs soften the black chrome and keep the room inviting; a cooler bulb leans further into the urban, industrial look. Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer you pair with it.

Sizing and fit

Overall 20 in long x 5.12 in wide x 5 in high, with a 5.125 in diameter x 0.75 in high canopy. The low 5 in profile suits ceilings of 8 ft and up. Weighs 3 lbs.

Frequently asked

Is the bulb included? No - two 60W candelabra-base bulbs are required and sold separately.

Is it dimmable? Dimmability depends on the bulbs and dimmer switch you use; pair dimmable candelabra bulbs with a compatible dimmer.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for dry and damp locations, not wet locations. Damp-rated spaces are fine; direct shower spray or exposed outdoor use is not.

What's the warranty? Warranty terms are not specified in the source data - check with Livex for current coverage.

How does black chrome differ from matte black? Black chrome has a reflective, slightly metallic sheen rather than a flat finish, so the arms catch light and read more polished.
