Description
A 26-inch outdoor post head for driveways, walkways, and yard posts, finished in bronze with clear beveled glass.
The Westover post head brings traditional lantern styling to the top of a post. The bronze finish and clear beveled glass panels give it a classic look that works with both traditional and transitional exteriors. It is designed to sit on a standard post (post sold separately) and uses four candelabra-base bulbs to light the area below.
Best for
- Driveway and walkway posts where you want a traditional lantern look
- Yard or garden posts that need a wide spread of light
- Matching with other bronze outdoor fixtures on the same property
- Homeowners who want a post light that uses standard candelabra bulbs
Not ideal for
- Posts that are not already wired for a light - this is a post head only, the post and wiring are not included
- Very small yards where a 15-inch-wide head would look oversized
- Anyone looking for a complete post light kit - you will need a compatible post and a licensed electrician to install
How bright is it?
This post head uses four 60-watt candelabra-base bulbs (bulbs not included). With standard 60W bulbs it produces roughly 3200 lumens total - enough to light a driveway or walkway area. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you install. With warm white bulbs (around 2700K) it gives a soft, welcoming glow; with cooler bulbs it reads brighter and more modern. The clear beveled glass lets the bulb color show through without tinting it.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 15 inches wide by 26 inches high. It fits a standard 3-inch post (post not included). At 26 inches tall it suits a post that is 6 to 8 feet above grade. The 15-inch width means it needs a little clearance from fences or shrubs.
