Livex Copenhagen 17in 2-Light Semi-Flush Mount | Mid Century Modern Brushed Nickel Steel | Bedroom & Hallway Accent Light | Model 51139-91

A 17-inch two-light semi-flush mount in brushed nickel steel, made for mid-century modern and transitional bedrooms, hallways, and entryways.

The Copenhagen collection strips the ceiling light down to its essentials: two exposed bulb sockets fixed over a brushed nickel finish, creating an eclectic, industrial-leaning look that suits Scandinavian and minimalist rooms. The low 6-inch profile keeps it out of the way on standard ceilings while the 17-inch length gives it enough presence to anchor a small room.

Best for

• Bedrooms 10x12 ft or larger, mounted as a central ceiling light with warm Edison-style bulbs
• Hallways and entryways where a low-profile fixture won't crowd the ceiling
• Mid-century modern or Scandinavian interiors that want exposed bulbs rather than a shade
• Dining nooks and breakfast areas that need accent light without a hanging pendant

Not ideal for

• Wet locations - rated for dry and damp locations only, not direct water exposure
• Rooms where you need a single bright primary light - two 60W bulbs give accent-level output
• Low ceilings under 8 ft if you plan to use large decorative bulbs that add height

How bright is it?

Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer and depends on the bulbs you choose. With two 60W-equivalent medium-base bulbs it delivers accent-to-ambient light - enough for a bedroom or hallway, not a substitute for a large primary room light.

Light color and feel

Color temperature depends on your bulbs. Warm 2700K-3000K Edison-style bulbs (ST19, T10, T14) suit the exposed-socket look and cast a soft golden glow; cooler bulbs read more industrial. The fixture is not listed as dimmable in the source specs - confirm dimmer compatibility with your bulbs and wiring.

Frequently asked

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are sold separately. The fixture takes two 60W medium-base bulbs; A19, G25, ST19, T10, and T14 shapes all fit.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? Dimmability is not specified by the manufacturer. Use dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer rated for the bulb type.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? It is rated for dry and damp locations, not wet locations. A bathroom is acceptable if it is not directly exposed to water; covered outdoor areas are not recommended.

What's the warranty? Warranty information is not specified by the manufacturer.

Will exposed bulbs glare? Yes, the sockets are open by design. Choose frosted or lower-lumen bulbs if glare is a concern, or use it as accent lighting rather than task lighting.
