Description
A single-light mini pendant in soft gold with a hand-crafted off-white fabric drum shade, sized for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, and bedside accents.
The Brookdale pairs floral-inspired metal detailing with a casual, tailored silhouette. The soft gold finish warms the steel frame, while the off-white hardback drum shade is lined in silky white fabric so the light reads soft and even from below. It is a transitional piece that sits comfortably between traditional and modern rooms.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars - hang one over a sink or two in a row over a peninsula
- Bedrooms, as a hanging accent beside a reading chair or nightstand
- Small dining nooks and eat-in kitchens that need a low-profile pendant
- Entryways and hallways where a single decorative drop adds interest
Not ideal for
- Rooms that need a primary light source - one 40W bulb is accent-level output
- Very tall foyers or two-story spaces - the chain is 3 ft and the wire 6 ft
- Spaces where a wide shade is wanted - the drum is only 5 in in diameter
How bright is it?
Takes one 40W medium-base bulb (A19). Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer and depends on the bulb you choose; at 40W it is best treated as accent or task light rather than a room's main light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb installed - the fixture ships without a bulb. The off-white hardback shade with a white fabric inner lining diffuses light softly and keeps the glow warm and even. Dimmability depends on the bulb and dimmer used; no dimmer is specified by the manufacturer.
Sizing and fit
Overall 18.25 in high x 5.125 in diameter. The shade measures 5 in diameter x 12 in high, and the canopy is 5.125 in diameter x 1 in high. Includes 6 ft of electrical wire and 3 ft of chain, so it suits standard 8-9 ft ceilings over a counter or table.
