Description
A single-light pendant with a Japanese-inspired silhouette, finished in brushed nickel with smoked solid glass, ideal for kitchen islands and dining nooks.
Inspired by traditional Japanese lanterns, the Soji pendant brings a timeless silhouette to any space. The brushed nickel metalwork and smoked solid glass create an ambiance that shifts from day to night, offering a warm, diffused glow. This fixture is part of the Soji Collection, designed to complement both modern and transitional interiors.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung in a row of two or three for balanced task lighting
- Dining nooks and breakfast areas, centered over a 36-48 in table
- Entryways and hallways with 8-10 ft ceilings, used as a single statement pendant
- Living rooms and reading corners, providing focused ambient light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft, as the pendant hangs 12.5 in from the canopy
How bright is it?
Uses one 60W E26 bulb (not included). With a standard 60W incandescent equivalent, expect about 800 lumens - suitable for accent or task lighting, not as a primary room light for large spaces.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb chosen. The smoked glass diffuses light softly, creating a warm, ambient glow. For a warm, incandescent-like feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. Dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb.
