Description
A single-light pendant with a triangular opal glass shade and matte black steel frame, inspired by Japanese design for modern dining and kitchen spaces.
The Remy collection draws from Japanese aesthetics, featuring strong, triangular shades with subtle interior gold accents that catch the eye. This pendant combines a matte black steel canopy and frame with a matte opal glass shade. The clean lines and minimalist silhouette make it a versatile choice for contemporary interiors. Sloped ceiling adaptable for installation on angled ceilings.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and breakfast bars, hung 30-36 inches above the counter
- Dining rooms over a small table (4-6 person), centered for ambient light
- Entryways and foyers as a statement pendant
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings (sloped ceiling adaptable)
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces needing bright task lighting - this is a single 60W fixture, best for ambient or accent light
- Very large rooms where multiple pendants or a larger fixture would be more appropriate
How bright is it?
Uses one 60W E26 bulb (not included). With a standard 60W incandescent bulb, expect about 800 lumens - suitable for ambient or accent lighting over a small area. For more light, use an LED bulb with higher output.
Light color and feel
The opal glass shade diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. Bulb color temperature is up to you - warm white (2700K-3000K) complements the matte black finish and gold interior accents. Dimmable if a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer are used.
Sizing and fit
13.5 inches in diameter and 12.62 inches high. The round canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter. Adjustable hanging length via the included chain or rod (not specified, typically adjustable). Works well over kitchen islands or dining tables with standard 8-9 ft ceilings.
