Description
A compact 5-inch LED exterior wall sconce with uplight and downlight, finished in black with frosted glass, designed for wet locations.
The Mavis exterior wall sconce from Kuzco is a simple, small cube that provides both uplight and downlight. Its black powder-coated aluminum body attaches to a matching square backplate with concealed fasteners, and a linear pin-strip pattern adds subtle interest to the front. Light exits from two opposite ends, allowing flexible horizontal or vertical mounting. Ideal for entryways, covered patios, and other outdoor areas where a discreet, modern light is needed.
Best for
- Covered patios and entryways requiring a wet-location rated fixture
- Outdoor walls where a small, unobtrusive light with uplight/downlight effect is desired
- Modern or contemporary home exteriors with black or dark trim
- Hallways or corridors in covered outdoor spaces
- Mounting horizontally or vertically to suit the space
Not ideal for
- Large open areas needing broad, flood-style illumination
- Indoor-only use if you need a fixture rated for damp locations
- Spaces where a decorative or ornate fixture is preferred
How bright is it?
1200 lumens - about as bright as a 75W incandescent bulb, suitable for accent or ambient lighting on a covered patio or entryway. Not intended as a primary security light.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and natural. Dimmable down to 10% with an ELV dimmer (not included).
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 3.25 inches wide, 4 inches high, and extends 3.62 inches from the wall. The canopy is 4.5 inches square. Its compact size works well on narrow walls or beside doors.
