Description
A 9-inch pendant with a geometric aged gold frame and opal matte glass, inspired by traditional Japanese lanterns.
The Hana collection draws from the warm glow of Japanese festival lanterns. This pendant features an opal matte glass core enveloped in a geometric metal frame, creating a welcoming, diffused light. Perfect for adding a touch of cultural elegance to dining rooms, entryways, or cozy reading nooks.
Best for
- Dining rooms over a small table or breakfast nook, hung 28-32 in above the table
- Entryways and foyers, hung at eye level to greet guests with a warm glow
- Living rooms as a single statement pendant over a side table or in a grouping
- Bedrooms as a bedside pendant on each side of the bed
- Transitional, modern, and eclectic interiors seeking a sculptural accent
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas – this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces needing bright task lighting – it provides ambient accent light, not primary illumination
- Very large rooms over 12x12 ft if used as a single light source
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb. The fixture accepts one 60W E26 bulb (not included). With a 60W incandescent-equivalent LED bulb, you can expect around 800 lumens – suitable for ambient or accent lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
The opal matte glass diffuses light softly, creating a warm, inviting glow. For a cozy, traditional feel, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The fixture is dimmable when used with a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 15.5 in high and 8.38 in diameter. The canopy is 4.75 in diameter and 1 in high. Suitable for sloped ceilings. Hanging method is not specified but typically uses a down rod or wire (check included hardware).
