Description
A 1-light pendant with a sweeping, organic metal shade in matte black, inspired by classic Japanese roofs for minimalist interiors.
Inspired by classic Japanese roofs, the Emiko collection encompasses the essence of Wabi-Sabi style design. With sweeping, organic shades forged from metal and finished in luxe matte black, this pendant is minimal yet has a style all its own. Perfect for adding a sculptural focal point above a kitchen island or dining table.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 4-6 ft long, hung singly or in a pair for focused task lighting
- Dining tables seating 2-4, centered 30-34 inches above the tabletop
- Entryways and foyers with ceilings 8-9 ft, as a statement piece
- Bedrooms as a bedside pendant over nightstands
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Spaces requiring bright, broad illumination - this is a single-bulb pendant for accent or task lighting
How bright is it?
With one 60W E26 bulb (not included), the fixture can deliver up to 600 lumens - about as bright as a 40W incandescent, ideal for accent or task lighting over a small area.
Light color and feel
Bulb-dependent; the open bottom shade directs light downward. Choose warm white (2700-3000K) for a cozy, inviting glow. The matte black interior reduces glare.
